Much excitement to have officially opened The Nexus Centre! Designed to provide a hub for troubled young people, where they can meet, exercise, get in touch with indigenous culture and get on the path to finding a career. Located at 99 Sheridan Street The Nexus Centre is open 6 days a week. From 6am till 9pm, Monday to Friday and 6am until noon on Saturday. The NEXUS centre has been funded with the help of community donations and a grant from the department, but we are seeking government support. ~ Thanks to The Cairns Post for their support and coverage of The Nexus Centre, we really appreciate it!
